They are old but still a reflection of our history. The house can be restored to its original beauty but probably not the barn.

Yes, they look pretty shaky but still standing after all these years and many earthquakes so must be stable enough. The house in front of the barn is gone. When I first moved to Linda Linda in 1989, the house was in front and people lived there as I remember them hanging their clothes on a line to dry.

 The house is being rehabbed so it will look great when it is done I suppose. I just love the old barnes and houses even in their unstable condition. Makes me feel I am in the country.

Thanks so much for the nice compliment. I love this older structures as it reflects a life our children will never know, a much simplier life that our parents shared.
