Facebook has been rolling out some changes over the last few weeks. Unless you've been hiding under a rock (or could give a rip about Facebook) you've surely seen and heard about these changes. With a site as popular as Facebook, even small changes are sure to cause some level of upheaval. Your own level of upheaval is probably dependant on your propensity for change.

If you've been on Facebook in the last couple of weeks you've surely seen the new newsfeed on the right hand side that calls to you with it's constant movement and updates of what your 'friends' are doing right now.

How about the new 'Facebook Timeline'? Have you seen and heard about this? The new Facebook Timeline is set to come out of beta soon, but a recent court case has put the breaks on it temporarily. You can be assured that with the resources Facebook put into the new timeline feature, they will do what it takes to be able to pull the curtain off this as soon as possible.

Each time Facebook makes new changes, it's users have to make sure to understand how these changes affect your privacy, first and foremost. The next step then, is to dig in and see if there are any business applications for these new changes.

Tomorrow (Tuesday October 4th at 9am Pacific Time) at ActiveRain University, Chad Hyams, Community Manager at IMSD, will have Tandi Smith joining him to discuss these new changes and the impact they could have on your experience using Facebook as a business tool. It has been speculated that some of these changes are being done to keep Facebook ahead of Google+ in the battle for your traffic, interaction and engagement on the social media playground.

What do you need to know to make the best decision about where to spend your time? Join us from the comfort of your home or office for this webinar Tuesday October 4th at 9am (Pacific Time).

Then on Wednesday of this week (October 5th at 10am Pacific Time) ActiveRain member Chris Alston will delve even further into Facebook as he shares some strategies for 'Farming on Facebook'. You can get all the details on Chris' webinar from his blog post, or you can also register directly for his class.

(both of these classes will be recorded and available on ActiveRain University by the end of the week)
