Where is it Wednesday...somewhere in Tualatin, OR 10/5/11

Each week I'll be posting a new picture on Wednesday morning. The title of the blog will have the City where the picture is taken and I'll post the answer Wednesday evening...not only here on my blog, but on facebook business page (please click like and add yourself there) as well as tweetin it on my Twitter page.

Do you know where it is? Care to guess? Comments are welcome! I'll post the answer tonight.

Hint: Where else can you get freshly made donuts, pumpkins, marionberry pie and lose the kids in a hay maze?

Lee Farm, answer to Where is it Wednesday...somewhere in Tualatin, OR 10/5/11

I stopped into Lee Farms to check out the fall offerings this past Tuesday afternoon before the predicted rain decided to fall. There were a couple of families there with young kids enjoying the maze, but my guess is that this place will be hopping come Saturday. Lee Farms is a Tualatin staple and not only do many families come here to pick pumpkins, there really is lots for the family with the pony rides, hay maze, hay rides, Giant bounce "pillow" ( I was wondering what that was) and bounce house...plus the cool slide.

This is not limited to just the kids..as  evidenced on Tuesday, when a I watched with a smile as a cool young grandma came head first out of the hay maze tube on her belly...you go girl!! Check out their website and go check out what they have. I know I left with a couple of pumpkins, halloween decor, and a bag of their famous homemade apple cider donuts. If you go..don't forget to think ahead and tag that perfect christmas tree....it will be here before we know it! Here are some pictures I took while there.

Just talked to my daughter in law - they have moved to Bend and she misses all the great pumpkin patches out in the Sherwood Tualatin area.  I'm not going to guess. :)

I'm going to guess it's Ryser's Farm Pumpkin Patch. which is located at 22560 SW Stafford Road in Tualatin.  They've got a great-looking maze!!!

Hi Debb...you and daughter in law just don't seem to go...you don't look anywhere old enough to have a daughter in law. We do have some really great pumpkin farms in the Portland area. I just saw a pic on my FB page of Steven Tyler at the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island...in for the American Idol auditions.

Hi Jill, I have been stalling in the embracing of fall...as I really love summer. The thing is..when walking around inthe cooler air, with the sunshine....or clouds..taking in all the scents, the colors of the pumpkins and gourds so vibrant....embracing fall is very easy.
