Kate,

This ia post from 5/11/11.  I think things have been just fine, and they are doing a great job.  We have only praise and delight in the new leadership!

That was several months ago and things have certainly changed since then.  It used to be that anyone that joined AR had the benefit of posting publicly but now you have to be grandfathered in and even at that you have guidelines on mandatory posting to keep that status (I think it's one post every 90 days will keep you in the good graces and not have to pay).

Other changes have occured but nothing earth shattering yet.  Primary owner of Active Rain is HOUSEVALUES as it used to be known before it got that name sort of soiled and became "MARKETLEADER".

Kate, please see my Blog from 2 days ago (October 4, 2011), about a possible Sale of ActiveRain (again).

Rumor: Is ActiveRain For Sale? Is Market Leader (LEDR) Looking for a Buyer for ActiveRain? Or is it Just a Rumor?

Update 10/05/2011 -  NOT TRUE!      ActiveRain is NOT For Sale

Thanks to CEO Niki Parekh and thanks to Bob Stewart for putting this Rumor to rest (see their comments below).

Is this a question? or a comment? I'm not sure what you are trying to ask? As the others have said, this is old news and so far, so good.
