Susan-Very well said. My kitty Lindsey is wanting to be held a lot and even though I can't hold her all the time I am holding her as much as possible because I know I am not going to have her too much longer and I know me holding her is bringing her some happiness and it makes me happy too. It will be hard when she leaves me as I have had her for 17 yrs. She is extremely thin because she isn't eating much. Happy Thursday to you
Hi Susan, love it! It is indeed those quiet moments where we just take in those moments and enjoy them that fill us up. Carpe Diem! Beautifully said.
Our cat likes to curl up on me at two in the morning.
Mel
Susan...
I have two cats, and they bring so much joy to my life. Now that the cooler weather has set in, they are getting extra snuggly!
Your Dani is a beauty. I now have two grand kittens! I will show you in my next post.
Margaret
Sis,
Anybody who can't take time out for their pet...doesn't deserve one...IMO.
Rich
To me, my dog is compelling evidence of a benevolant God. I wish I was a wonderful as he thinks I am.
Susan, we hardly ever get to see Dani. What a charmer. One of my kitties frequently jumps in my lap when I am working and then works his way up to snuggle my neck. Who can resist a kitty kiss and all that purring?
Small breaks of happiness are good for us Susan, and you describe them so well.
Sharon, I'm sorry to hear about Lindsey. xxoo It's always hard to face the end of a beloved pet's life.
Thank you Cindy!
Mel, our little girl cat comes to see me sometimes at night and if she would just curl up, I'd be happy. She wants to wake me so I'll pet her!
Richard, I have noticed that with the cooler weather, the cats are hanging around a bit more! :-)
Margaret, I will be sure to check out your grandbabies!
Rich, they bring great joy and expect so little in return.
Phil, you said it brother. As far as I'm concerned my dog's only fault is that he will not live forever.
Suzanne, I can feel my heart slowing and a calmness come over me when I hear a cat's purr. Dani is a tough cat to photograph because 1) she never stops moving and 2) her face is all black. But I thought this was a good one!
Gary, thank you. It's good to stop and appreciate what's around you.
Wow...another critter at your home besides you know who? And speaking of a clean desk, I cannot remember the last time I saw the top of mine ;-)
Yep, Russell, you are the male me. The only difference is I don't have a lovely wife helping me out! As for another critter, I can't believe it's been this long but we adopted two kittens the Sunday before Christmas. Dani, pictured and her gorgeous bigger brother Dusty. xxoo Glad things are looking good for you in Austin!
