22 Comments on Getting Back To Nature At Rocky Mountain National Park
Hi John - I'm delighted that you enjoyed your visit to my backyard. Perfect timing - the elk are everywhere right now, but the moose are a bit harder to run across - I sure am glad they're coming back and doing well.
Hey John, thanks for sharing another great outdoor adventure with us. I love this and spent time there last year viewing the same scene - it's amazing. Love Colorado in the fall. I also love to hike in Rocky Mountain National Park.
HI Dick, And were just as delighted we had the opportunity to enjoy it all. We love Colorado and abundance of beauty and outdoor excursions. We will be back for sure! Of course New Mexico has her hidden treasures as well. Enjoy your weekend!
Hi DJ, It really is an exceptional park, the hiking is awesome and not so over crowded as I have seen on too many other places. A gorgeious place indeed so glad my fellow Rainer's have enjoyed the same experiences. We just need to get together for a little party! Have a great weekend.
Hi John, This is one of Will's favorite places to go. When I stress him out too bad, he puts his wife in the car and takes a day in the Park. Great pictures. Love the moose!
Hi Belinda, I can certainly see why it would be one of his favorites. I'm a tad jealous you live so close to this gorgeous place. Maybe I'm in for a relocation ;>) Oh but then the snow..
Hi John, you have so much fun, I'm jealous! Those are great photos of the elk, do you hunt as well?
John those shots are amazing! I thought my African safari was cool but this looks even better!
Hi Erika, We do have fun and blessed to have the opportunities. I hunt with the camera only!
Marco, Oh wow I would love to go on a safari! That has to be so fun and fascinating. You must share photos of that trip with us in the rain! That big bull thought I was getting way to close and I have to agree!
Regards from The Q
Beautiful. Mother Nature at her best, amazing the colors of those trees.
David, Glad you drop in and appreciate the comments. I have to agree Mother Nature does show her true colors this time of year especially in the high country. I bet you have some amazing colors in CT as well. Have a great weekend!

Wow, what amazing photos! They are absolutely beautiful! Looks like you were having a great time.
That looks like a great trip, and one I would love to go on again before I leave this plane. Thanks for the up close and personal shots of you and the moose. Not Debbie either.
