Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre presents "Little Shop of Horrors" at the theatre, 830 Parker Square in Flower Mound, Oct. 25-Nov. 11. Shows are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays; 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Ticket prices for Oct. 25-26 are $15 for all seats. Denton Community Theatre production of "Dracula," at Campus Theatre, 214 W. "Deathtwang," Polly Maynard's annual Hallowen show, is 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 28, on the patio of Dan's Silverleaf on Industrial Street. This kid-friendly show features a costume contest, sing-alongs, and allows the audience members to decide the next song.  Free admission and candy.

Teen pumpkin party at North Branch Library, 3020 N. Locust St., at 4 p.m. Oct. 31. Teens can come decorate pumpkins, eat cookies and watch a scary movie.

Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center, 1001 Parvin St. presents a Halloween carnival and haunted house from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Admission is one canned good for chlidren under 5 and $5 for ages 6 and up. Parents are free if accompanied by child. Activities include bounce houses and carnival games with candy. "Wednesday Night Live" church event with a Halloween twist, at First Christian Church of Denton, 1203 N. Fulton St., 6 p.m. Oct. 31. Event features dinner, ghost stories by Judd Holt and trick-or-treating.
