Because they are not honest all of the time, When I was I was in Property Management, If I promised more then what I gave it always turned out to bite me. When I was honest and up front, everything was fine. But they still end up hating you if you have to evict. They think you owe them something then.

Property managers are always the ones that have to bring on the bad news - rent increases, evitions, and everything else. Than when the client needs something they have to contact the property manager - things are never done fast enough.
Owners of the property always think that you are charging too much and do nothing so you are getting it from boths sides even if everything is going great.
