Hi DeeDee,

Yes Anthony's is one of the oldest restaurants in San Diego and the food was great but the picture window from the restaurant was even better. It is a great place to go and all the birds are outside waiting to get their picture made.

Those guys are always looking for a handout.  We have a great outdoor restaurant, and the sign near the condiments says something to the effect of , "Don't leave your food unattended!"  LOL A

Hi Ron and Alexandra,

The restaurant next door, Anthony's, has an extremely nice restaurant on the right but on the left it has a Patio lunch shop and definitely not fine dining. While leaving, I noticed pigeons walking around inside there. They have doors that are kept open to the front so I guess it is hard to keep the pigeons out.

 I certainly agree with you as I love to take pictures too and I try to get them in their best light. I think it is so important for everyone to appreciate nature and share  in  protecting our enviroment; rescue animals, animals, nature, global warming etc.

 I think you are right. He was a good size bird and could have eaten the entire box of crackers. I will be looking for him next time I go there and I will bring lots of goodies to entice him for another picture.

Yes he was quite vocal before he ran off. I was lucky to get this shot as I only had one chance so luckily it was a good one. Sometimes I will shoot 20 pictures to get one good one. I think when He realized I had no food, he left! Have a lovely weekend.
