Good morning Chuck,
First choice is always Monopoly, second would have to be Scrabble...
We have a version of Monopoly called Catopoly. Instead of Passing GO, you Pass Scat. Free Parking is the Catnip space. My daughter loves cats and loves this game. We also like Yahtze.
My favorites were Monopoly and Clue!
Chuck, this sounds like a perfect family activity! Growing up we played many card games as well as board games including Monopoly!
When I was growing up, Monopoly was a really fun family game. We use to play it all of the time. My family LOVED board games. It's not something that I hear about often.
HMMM, I always liked spin the bottle but my wife says I am t old that anymore. (That's what she thinks.0
So for now, Settler's of Catan. It is a great strategic game. There are a lot more games we love also just depends on our company.
Monday is my Happiness Day.
I visit as many blog posts as I can throughout the day

Chuck, it sounds like you're trying to create a family or real estate moguls!:) Cribbage always was a favorite.
Chuck, my family plays a simple but fun game called Apples to Apples. It is great for school age children because it teaches nouns, adjatives, verbs and adverbs..........very fun for adults too! ~Karen
