Gary's post today is a good reminder to " Be Bold,Communicate a lot and ask questions" Listening is also key. Especially when dealing with clients that all have different personalities.

OvercommunicationBiblical stories fascinate me. The Tower of Babel in Genesis after the Noah and the Ark flood, all the people spoke one language and were building the first skyscraper to the heavens. God for some reason scrambled their languages, maybe rebellion of God on their part or thinking they could be on the same level as God, but the Babel term means confusion and all that building to the heavens stopped. We all with the Internet today and translators TRY to again unite as one world, but think even in one country, let alone the world how DIFFERENT we still are.

You Can Never Overcommunicate Enough.

That thought is a good one for all of us in business and in personal relationships.

Be BOLD. Communicate a lot. Ask questions. Explain yourself three times over till another gets you. Listen, listen, and more listen to what THEY are telling you and clarify with more questions. In today's shortened Twitter world and sound bites, SURELY not enough UNDERSTANDING there. Go for depth and talk and talk and talk and ask questions and listen and listen and listen and above all be civil and show massive respect to the other person even if it is not returned to you. UNDERSTANDING is a very good thing.
