If you spend any time with me you will learn pretty quickly that I am a very passionate person.   Passion is something I've written about in the past, but I want to talk to you about another aspect of passion.

Passion is contagious.  We live in a pretty passionless world, and I find that terribly sad.  Passion gives you a tremendous power that you might not sense when you're just going through the motions of life. 

A few years ago, I was visiting an electrical client.  I was also a Realtor at that time, and then just like now, I owned two companies.  One was an electrical contracting company and the other was a real estate business.  During our conversation, I began talking about real estate.  I'm very passionate about the real estate field.  So, it just oozes out of me when you get me talking about it.

In that conversation, my electrical client got more and more excited about real estate the longer we talked.  She was employed at the time.  So, she wasn't looking for a job.  A short time later, I received a call from her.  She asked if I thought she could make it as a Realtor.  Absolutely!  I promised that I would help her get through her test, and I did.  She is a wonderful agent in our community today.    

Passion.  She was infected by my passion.  That infection turned into a career that she loves and thrives in today.  I couldn't make her a great Realtor, but I could impart a vision that generated a passion in her.  Friends, don't be afraid to share what you love with those you come in contact with. 

People everywhere are looking for something, and in many cases they are just looking for something that will make life more enjoyable.  If you're passionate about something - you might just have the answer someone is looking for.  Don't hide your enthusiasm about whatever you think or whatever you do.  You might not be passionate about real estate, but you might be passionate about coaching little league sports.

You might be passionate about singing, or dancing or learning, or whatever.  Let your passion ooze out and you will ignite an undiscovered passion in someone who needs a spark.
