Congrats to Mary Macy who amazingly got 9 out of 10 correct. Below are the answers and how to solve.
1. Who has the most invite points? Russel Ray. You can see this by going to his profile and page and clicking on Point Summary. He has invited many r and coached them on how to use AR.
2. Not including bonus points (e.g. comments, features, being reblogged, reporting spam, contests, invite pts), what is the max points you can earn from your actions per week? 4,950. 7*100 points for logging in (700pts) + 7*250 for cmmenting (1,750) + 10*225 for blogging (2,250) + 10*25 for rebloggin = 4,950. Of course, you can get more points by getting comments on your post, getting reblogged, getting featured, reporting spam and participating in contests.
3. Among those who started in 2011, who has the most points? Jerry Newman. You can find this by going to home page, scroll down on right hand side and select "Membership Roster." Then select 2011 and it will sort by highest # of points. Likewise, you can do this for any year. Thank you to Richard Yates who pointed this out in one of his posts.
4, Which post has the most comments? How to get over 100 comments on your blog post by Jayson Crouch. You can find this by going to blogs and then sorting by most comments. His post takes forever to load, so don't say I didn't warn you.
5. How many bloggers have at least 100 featured posts? 36 (as of 10/14/11). Lenn Harley has the most with 402. I just went to the leader board and counted going back several pages.
6. How many points do you get for "having a fast trigger" (i.e. if you publish your 1st post within 48 hrs of joining). I did not qualify. 750. If you were lucky enough to do this, you would see this in your point score. I was not lucky, but I introduced some new people to AR and noticed this as I showed them how to use the system.
7. Among those that have a substantial amount of blogs (i.e. at least 100), who has the highest success rate of writing featured posts? this was the one no seemed to be able to figure out. Several suggested Broker Bryant, who has an amazing track record with 350 out of 1049 33.4%. But, Brad Andersohn has 309 out of 610 (50.7%)...granted he was AR employee...so maybe not fair comparison, and Craig Daniels has 50 out of 146 for 34.2%.
8. As of 9pm on Oct 10th, 2011, how many blog posts have been written on Active Rain? 2,550,389. Each blog post has a # in the URL which shows how many blogs have been published to date.
9. Which New York Active Rainer has the most subscribers for the state? (He's #10 overall in subscribers and has been here for about a year). Craig Daniels. Very impressive given that he has only been here around a year or so. Go to the bottom of the home page and at very bottom, select blogs (this may work on any page) and that will lead you to bloggers rated by subscribers. You'll see Craig is #10 overall...not bad. Then, on the left, you can see the top ones by state. So, even if you didn't make the top 99 overall, maybe you made the top 99 in your state. For New York, I'm now #7.
10. Which state has the most Active Rain millionaires (i.g. at least 1,000,000 pts). Virginia. Lenn Harley, Cindy Jones and Chris Ann Cleland. You can figure this out by looking at the Leaderboard and knowing where the top 18 are from...or hunting and pecking by state.
