Got my AT&T phone bill....

Oh yeah, I got my mail.... I had it held while I was on vacation so it wouldn't pile up in the box. Perhaps you all remember my "issue" with AT&T back in August. So as you might imagine I just howled with laughter when I opened my phone bill. I was expecting 83.00 as that's what they promised. Holy Batman!

As you can see my "scribble" of a case "tracking #" they are investigating. But while they are investigating.... I've contacted my attorney. If this error blemishes my credit... we're gonna have a little problem. And when I say "we're" I don't really mean me, I just mean them. So my saga with AT&T continues.

I would have loved to have spent the time sorting through my zoo photos and posting about my wonderful day at the San Diego zoo. But I was transferred to 4 different departments and finally told to call another number and then my "case" was assigned. I guess I won't get that hour and half back either huh? Yup, if there was an alternative to have a land line and high speed internet... I'd be all over it.

Cindy- yeah bull was connected to one of the wors I used today.

Alison- I have the orignal canceled 3 year contract they are charging me for and the email from then saying they had gotten it.

Andrea- I had managers calling me when those idiots disconnected my phone two months ago. Took a week to get my Internet back. I've never missed a payment. You'd have to read that original post to understand the depth of my disgust.

Jane- there's no crying in baseball.. LOL and southern California is beautiful in early fall. I love it.

Vickie- I think they should pay for me to see a therapist after my ordeal with them

Bliz- I'm SURE that was me.

Kim- beyond crazy really

Oh Chris- there are no "LOCAL" news channels. Girl... I live in the boonies. But perhaps a letter to the editor. :)

We have been going through something similar with "Verizon" here in our area. Signed up for a $59.00 Bundle plan (landline, High Speed internet and DirecTV) and our billhas been over $400 a month for three months. They keep "forgetting" to input our rebates and credits. Gotta love the BOG corporate mentality.

Tammy, We gave up dealing with ATT on our issue. They were so wrong... We finally reached agreement somewhat and sent them a check.. Then we got a collection notice from an agency. WHOA! We don't do collection agencies.. so a certified letter was fired off.. That was 30 days ago.. haven't heard anything back . Good luck with this.

I dunno Tammy, I think a good virtual head thumpin' or ass whoopin' is well overdue. In fact we should go all guerilla consumer on them. Have you tried calling your congressperson and the FCC? You don't have time for this crap, you are an independent contractor with a ton to do. Are you rural enough that you could get a corporate voodoo doll conjured? Stick it with pins so many times that they come whimpering to you for mercy? Okay, great...now, I'm too wound up to sleep.

Mona- hmmmm perhaps an email to the FCC is in order. I just don't know who's personal "stuff" I'd make the voodoo doll work with though. I doubt seriously if I can get the customer service reps to send me their hair and clothing. LOL

Thanks Andrea. I'm really beyond anger at this point. I swear no one department communicates with any other one department. I got another phone bill today. It's wrong too. Well according to what they told me it would be. I suppose it's for my current "residential" line. You know the same number that was a business number two months ago, the same number I've had for 20 years. I want my BellSouth or Southern Bell company back. I never had these issues before the last merger with AT&T.
