In winning customers for life it is really no different than in personal relationships. The basic question to ask yourself do you really CARE about this other person?
I was asked what gift I would like. I always answer that is easy. To me, ANYONE giving me the gift of their time, whether email, text, phone call, or visit is PRECIOUS to me.
Why? It is the most valuable piece of a person. Time is the currency of their life.
But giving TIME is Caring 101. Do you want to know what Advanced Caring 201 says? Two words:
SPECIAL and IMPORTANT.
Can you with some focused thoughts with people, business or personal, make them feel VERY IMPORTANT and highly valued and SPECIAL, in the minutes, hours, weeks, or possibly years they are with you? If you do, then you have WON THEM.
Conversely, neglect in making people feel important and special, they will eventually steer clear of you. Why? YOU are just like everyone else they encounter in the world. Special and Important coming from you their internal hearts have this little counter inside FEELING that from you. The MORE you make them feel this way and CONSISTENTLY you do this, you will have no problem keeping these people in your life.
