A slowing Blog market?

I have the perception that the number of Active Rain blog posts is down in the last few days.  Perhaps Matt could confirm or deny?  I would have thought that with the real estate activity slowing a little for the holidays, more people would have more time to post - but I'm getting the feeling that's not the case!

So where are these folks with more time on their hands?  Attending Christmas Parties?  Family gatherings?  Winding down for the year?

Hellooooooo out there!  We need blog posts to comment on!  So perhaps it's time for some of the newbies (I still am sort of) and the lurkers to take a stab at posting.  There is no right or wrong (within bounds of etiquette) - just practice and improvement!

So - a challenge - put on your daily to do list "I will post one blog today".  It really doesn't hurt - and it could be a lot of help!

Suzanne,

Maybe we are more addicted to AR than we like to admit.  I also have seen the trend.  I called it the AR bubble burst LOL.  I have also seen a lot of the same blogs but I have also realized that sometimes the same kind of blog will have a different perspective, that makes it very interesting; I like this because it helps me to expand my knowledge that much further.   Thanks for the post

Yeah, I'm sure there down, but they always fall off near the end of the week and then pick up again Sunday or Monday.

I had serious writers block for three or four days; I guess that will happen; I'm also wondering if it isnt the time of year? This is our first 'end of year Holiday' with AR so no way to compare....but we'll see as the years go on!

That was inevitable with the popularity of the GROUPS.  I doubt that the traffic is down, although I don't really know, but I suspect that a lot of traffic has been diverted to GROUPS.

I don't get it... I'm so busy right now I'm dying.  I am still blogging because I've got a serious addiction, but it's all in between appts.

I certainly don't have the #'s but I thought there was MORE activity this week!

Maybe I'm nuts?!?

I agree Suzanne, bring on thy newbie bloggers.  Nothing is wrong, nothing is right, just blog.  That's how we all got started.  I think Colleen K. did a post on first blogs versus last blogs and the differences were amazing.  Keep on bloggin!
