iPhone 4S is on its way- did you get yours on time?

So the improvements offered with the iPhone 4s proved spectacular enough to entice me to upgrade.

I stayed up at midnight of the 7th to get my pre-order in and literally hit refresh on the Apple Store over 300 times before finally getting in at 2:45am. I ended up getting the white 16gb because the 32 was already sold out. Luckily I will be able to sell my old 3gs for about $200 so this ended up being a free upgrade for me. I will keep my current iPhone4 as a backup most likely.

According to the shipping tracker- my 4s is currently in Kentucky, I wish they would have shipped it straight down to Seattle from Alaska, but hey what can ya do.

Did you end up ordering yours on time or are you braving it out in line on Friday?

Also, were the new features enough to reel you in?

If you didnt get yours on time, you can still get it on friday through Sam's Club it looks like!

The iPhone 4S is going to be pretty awesome! I though, am going to hold out for the iPhone 5 which is supposed to be rumored to be out first quarter next year... Regardless, I am happy as a clam that Sprint is carrying the iDevices now!!! :)

Abe, I recently swapped phones with my daughter and let her take my 3GS to college with her. Her ipod had died and it seemed liked a better way to do it than paying $300 for a new ipod. Instead of buying the iPhone4, I purchased an iPad and now use that the way I used to use my phone. Except, of course, I can't call on it. Honestly, I'm not even missing my phone and think I have found a way to save myself lots of money. I'm actually surprised more people aren't doing this. Any thoughts?

Hi Steve, I have one Iphone 4 and one 3G. I will likely upgrade the 3G model over the New Years holiday so the new contract will be for Jan 2012. The iOS 5 does not work on the 3G but does on the 3GS. Maybe I will trade up sim cards in the interim and get the new iOS 5 that way until Jan 2012 with phone upgrade.
