Fall Season of Miracles ~ NW Austin ~ Coldwell Banker United Realtors ~ Making Miracles Happen
In a tough economy it's hard to raise money for charities and worthy causes, but with a little effort and lots of fun miracles can happen. Wednesday, October 12, 2011, our Coldwell Banker United NW Office held our fund-raising luncheon and silent auction to close the gap on meeting our goal of $6,000 for the American Cancer Society! We went into the event with $3,702 towards our goal. Adding the $1,682 from the event our grand total so far for 2011 is $5,384.00! Now we only need $636 to reach our goal...an easy amount to obtain during the 4th quarter!
This was a fun event that supports a good cause! There is always serious competition over the silent auction items...this year I have to admit I outbid our Broker and chief...Vanessa on a Christmas wreath.
Everyone brings a favorite dish to share and pays $10 which goes 100% to the American Cancer Society! With plenty of vendors, agents and staff attending it was a successful event in every way!
