Well, the end of October is fast approaching.  I think I saw frost on the pumpkin this morning.  We had our trick or treat the other night and I went pretty well.  We were out of town so I did not trick nor did I treat.

I am afraid however that the realy trick will soon be upon us.  Property taxes, we still have not recieved ours and I was hearing some old men complain at the gas station this morning that he had not seen his yet as well.

What the heck Indiana?  You can be the great pumpkin or you can be the grinch, but you can't be both.  I am afraid that a lot of people will be hurt here very soon if we do not get our tax problems solved.

I really we are getting taxed to death, Chicago is looking to increase their sales tax to 11%, goodbye going to Chicago to do some Christmas shopping.  LaPorte county is going to increase it's sales taxe by 1%.  When are we going to stop this tax and spend mentaility of our elected officials.

Wow!  11%, that’s ridiculous.  Judge Learned Hand was correct “The power to tax is the power to destroy”.  Shopping should be destroyed at 11%!

You have no ideal.  Taxes in Myrtle Beach although not that high yet continue to rise at an alarming rate.  It's scary how fast things can spiral out of control.
