When I first joined Active Rain I was not used to blogging and had never done much of it. I was not real sure what was included in a blog. Since that time I have written many blogs and it is kind of fun to do. Thanks to the forum that Active Rain has available it also helps to get your name out on the internet with many of my posts going to the first page of Google. I am sure that Active Rain has helped my website to gain recognition as well. I am not certain that I have gotten any business as a direct result yet but I am sure that it is probably going to help over time. I have only been using Active Rain for a little over a month so it is too early to tell just what, if anything, that I will gain from using the service.
As part of using Active Rain I have also read many post from others and commented on many of them. Reading other posts have helped me to get insight into what works in my daily activities as a real estate agent. The posts have given me ideas on things like how to get clients and how to keep clients. This information alone is worth way more than it costs to become a rainmaker with Active Rain.
I plan to continue using Active Rain on a regular basis and I would encourage anyone else to do that as well. Active Rain is a great tool for learning things that will give you a strategic advantage regardless of how much you already know or how long you have been doing business. I have always believed that you should strive to learn new things everyday just to make life worth living. I appreciate that Active Rain gives you the format to do this.
