Condos near Fordham University- We have sold many condos to parents who seek New York city condos for their son or daughter who will be or is attending some of the finest universities, college and design school Manhattan New  York has to offer. We offer our expertise in the market knowledge and familiarity of each condo near the school. In our past blogs, we have discussed many different condo options near NYU (New York University), Condos near the Juilliard School, condos near Parsons School of Design, in this blog we will be discussing condos near Fordham University (Lincoln Center Campus)

Fordham University is located at 113 West 60th St, right in the middle of the Lincoln Square area of the Upper West Side neighborhood. Located between 60th and 62nd Streets and Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues, the Fordham University main campus in the heart of the Upper West Side has many condominium apartment options.

The Lincoln Square area has a variety of condominium apartment buildings within its borders.  Whether you are looking for a luxury hi-rise, views of Central Park, Hudson River views, or simply a practical doorman condo building you will probably be able to find it here.

If you are looking for a luxury new construction condominium near Fordham University then you will have a couple of options including 200 West End Avenue, 243 West 60th St-The Adagio, 10 West End Avenue, or if you want to be on the Hudson River there are buildings such as the Aldyn and the Rushmore located at 60 and 80 Riverside Boulevard. New construction buildings definitely have their advantages as far as brand new renovations, but keep in mind the price point is typically going to be starting around $1100-$1200 sq/ft or higher for many of these apartments.

Another category of condominium apartments near Fordham University will be the post war condominium buildings, these apartments are going to be found in such buildings as 155 West 68th St-The Dorchester Towers, 20 West 64th St-One Lincoln Plaza, 155 West 70th St-The Coronado, 30 West 61st St-The Beaumont, just to name some of the more prominent buildings.  In these types of buildings you will find starter studio's starting in price around $550,000, 1 bedrooms for sale in the $650,000-$850,000 range.  We have sold many apartments in this price range and currently have for sale a One (1) Bedroom Condo for Sale at Dorchester Towers, 155 West 68th St, for $625,000.  This is the lowest priced true 1 bedroom apartment for sale right now in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of the Upper West Side.

If you want views of Central Park from your condominium apartment near Fordham University, they can be found most prominently in a building such as 101 West 67th St or 111 West 67th Street.  These hi-rise buildings known as the Millennium Tower and Park Millennium have some of the most commanding views of Central Park and the Upper West Side skyline.  Apartments in these buildings will typically sell for a premium compared to the surrounding buildings.  You can also find amazing views from 1 Central Park West-The Trump International Hotel and Tower and the Time Warner Center-25 Columbus Circle and 60 Columbus Circle.  These buildings are also close to Fordham University and if you want that unique and rare combination of an ultra luxury building along with Central Park views these will be some of the buildings that you should look at.

Eileen, great blog for families with students attending school!    It could be a wise decision to purchase near the school versus renting!
