Eat More Chicken and Help Raise Money for Morehead City Primary School
Just in case you missed Amy Hahn's post telling us about this important fund raiser for Morehead City Primary School, here it is again. My three precious grandsons all attend that school and I love volunteering there. If you'll be at Chick Filet be sure and let them know you support Morehead City Primary. Every dollar helps. Thanks in advance for your support.
Eat More Chicken and Help Raise Money for Morehead City Primary School
Head over to Chick-fil-A on the 2nd Thursday of every month for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner (or all of the above)! When you place your order, tell the cashier at the register or in the drive-thru that you are there for "Spirit Day" for Morehead City Primary School. A percentage of each transaction will go directly to the School. I met my sister there for Breakfast yesterday, and had a great time. They have an awesome Chicken Biscuit (and you know how I love biscuits) and some of the best sweet tea in the South! As Todd topped off my tea before we left, I had to snap a pic of him (it was his idea to stand with the cow). Todd and the rest of the staff are always friendly and very pleased that we are there to support our school.
If you do not live in Morehead City, check your local Chick-fil-A for similar programs. From what I understand, Spirit Day is a Nationwide Program that "Grows Kids Inside and Out" and helps schools all over the country. According to the Morehead City Primary School PTO President, Meredith Westbrook (my sister), Most spirit days bring in at least $40 and usually more. Every little bit helps, especially in these tough economic times, where Public School Budgets are being cut constantly.
So, stop by Chick-fil-A on the 2nd Thursday of every month, have some Chicken, save a cow, say hi to Todd and raise money for the Morehead City Primary School! I'll be there with a big Sweet Tea in my hand!
