What do you do about those dreams? Do you wake up, shake yourself and say: Wow, that was silly of me: that will never happen? Or are you going to do something about attaining them?
Do you see Shayna's reflection on the window; she's on the inside looking out. What's her goal?
1. Are you goal-oriented?
2. Can you set the bar higher? Can you set a bar?
3. Can you make a list of what it is you need to do to get to that goal?
4. Will you print it out and post it where you can see it each morning?
5. Will you look at it and commit to it each morning?
6. Will you commit to it until you reach your goal?
Not all of us will do those things; some of us will start with good intentions; some will make it to their goal; most will not.
But think about this:
If you don’t reach your ultimate goal, but along the way you realize many smaller goals (more listings, more sales, higher-priced listings, dominating your market area) have you really failed?
Shayna is committed and determined; will that help her? Look at that focus.
Don’t forget: add things to your goals such as:
1. More family time
2. More time helping in the community
3. More time for yourself.
These are things that will help you commit to your other goals.
