Boo at the ZooThe third annual “Boo at the Zoo” returns to Buttonwoods Park in New Bedford for a “Spooktacularly Good time”. The family event features a “haunted cemetery’, hay maze, lighted pumpkins, rides and treats. Proceeds help support the Zoo’s educational and family programs. The weather for the weekend is supposed to be crisp and sunny and the Trustees of The Reservation hope you will join them at the Westport Town Farm for their 3rd annual Harvest Festival!  Saturday October 15 from noon to 4 pm enjoy a farmers market, family activities like pumpkin painting, kid’s scavenger hunt and petting zoo. Explore the Town farm with its historic buildings and fantastic views of the WestportRiver. Bring a non perishable food donation to support the Council on Aging’s food pantry.

 

 

 

44 young actors will “spook” you when the Little Folks Theatre present “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” October 28 through 30th at Bristol CommunityFall weekend activities College.  Watch as the famed Headless Horseman, Ichabod Crane and Brom Bones among others come to life providing edge of your seat suspense mixed with hilarious action. The Little Folks Theatre  is part of the Dighton Community Arts and “has become a well known company in the Southern Mass–Rhode Island area exposing young minds and those minds young at heart, to the thrill of live performances”.
