Food Collection Drive Begins October 28


Once again the Foundation is pleased to team up with several Girl Scout troops, the Rachel Carson Elementary School PTA, the Lakelands Park Middle School PTSA, Kentlands Citizens Assembly and the Lakelands Community Association for Project Harvest in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. Starting October 28 we invite you to drop off non-perishable foods, to benefit Gaithersburg HELP, at one of four locations: Kentlands Clubhouse, Lakelands Clubhouse, RCES and LPMS. Your donations help our neighbors right here in Gaithersburg.

Character counts in Bucks County too! The food pantries need lots of support. More and more people are using them much earlier in the month. We all need to look out for out neighbors in need.

Hi Roy and Delores,

The food drives here are in full swing. We donate all we can during these times. Each year we go in and buy cases of canned goods along with pasta and other non perishables. Just to donate them to a bunch of food pantries. Helping others is the only right thing to do as a person.

The colder it gets the more aware people become for the need to donate food. (especially when the holidays hit.) They just need to remember that they are hungry year round.
