Printing on the Fly is Made Easy with Cloud Printing

We have all been in a situation at one time or other where we needed the ability to get something printed but were nowhere near a printer. Maybe it caused time to be lost, or extra driving to get to a printer or quite possibly a delay in getting a contract submitted for a client that caused them to lose a deal.

Technology is a wondrous thing, and almost daily there are new creations and innovations that make one not only marvel, but also appreciate the time saved.

Google has created a technology that allows printers to be connected to the web and then to be accessed by whomever has the proper codes. Imagine, any printer that has been properly coded becomes the source for a mobile office.

Using an app, a simple command will allow an email attachment to be immediately printed at a designated printer. No more frantic runs to the office; no more flailing by clients to get a document in time. With the amount of running around we do, what could be simpler, and if you have the laptop in the car and just maybe the printer in the trunk, a mobile office is there, just add a plug.

We all look for opportunities to make our jobs easier, and Kodak, and Google Cloud are steps in that direction.

Hi Ed.  Life has certainly changed from the days of running to find a pay phone or going to the office to use the computer or now printer.... Not that you are old enough to remember!    Have a nice day.

Ed.....I love that photo!  If we cannot go paperless then printing on the go is the way to do it.

Ed I am not sure yet of all the ways that I can take advantage of this technology, fut I can see a lot of potential in it.

Ed - I haven't really gotten into cloud computing yet. If I need to print something, I do it through my wireless connection at home or at work.  I have to figure out how this would be of use to me.

I've been carrying a $29 printer in the back of my jeep for almost 5 years. Thought I rarely use it anymore because of Docusign, I still have it for those occasions where a "WET" signature is still required, like HUD homes and Bank of America short sales and foreclosures.
