Wrought Iron Fences in the Garden District of New Orleans….

 

      The wrought iron fences are the norm among the many historic homes in the New Orleans Garden District.  Its like a layering effect to get inside.  The gate, the fences, the porch, the door and then the foyer.  Just another historic home in New Orleans that is completely unique. They only built one of them….

We have always enjoyed visiting the Garden District and touring some of the older homes there in New Orleans. Lots of history and so appreciative folks have maintained some of the old mansions of the era.

Eric I’m so glad to see the city continuing to recover. I used to have family in New Orleans and the old homes are spectacular.
