With the kids back in school and a month of good weather, Canmore Real Estate Sales in September strengthened considerably from a quiet August, for a total of 25 sales in Canmore.
There was an interesting mix of sales in September, with only three single family home sales during the month. Two of the three single family sales occurred below the $600,000 mark while the third single family sale in September was the highest sale of the month, trading at $1,650,000.
The busiest segment of the market for Canmore Real Estate Sales in September were townhomes and 4-plex property sales with a total of 13 transactions. The average sale price for properties in this category was $481,944.
Six condominium sales closed, with a large spread between the lowest priced sale at $185,000 of a 2 bedroom condo on Kananaskis Way to the highest priced condo sale at $781,900 for a South-facing penthouse in the Mountain Winds development in Eagle Terrace, yielding an average condo sale price of $422,416.
Overall, Canmore Real Estate Sales for September had an average sale price of $555,701 and $376 per square foot.
