I took this picture of the wildlife preserve that my mother's house overlooks in Owings Mills, Maryland. The colors here are only beginning to change, and this was a splash of color in the middle of a lot of green.

Your fall colors will soon be bursting everywhere..that is the one thing I miss in Texas is the rich fall colors..as Donna says it was 90 degrees in Austin..I have to admit we did lounge around by the pool :).
