Pokes Neighborhood Grill: New in Addison.

Kyle Hungerford, the owner and general manager of Pokes, the new sports bar & grill in town, is a Cowboys fan. The Oklahoma State University Cowboys.  He greeted my client and me personally when we stopped in on Saturday afternoon for a quick bite between showing appointments.

Pokes Neighborhood Grill

Pokes is located on Midway Road in Addison, next to Ferrari's Italian. It's a great place for lunch or dinner, group or parties, or just drinks. They are open every day, from 11:00 am.

Be sure to fully read the menu for some grins. A couple of examples: 

  • Wings (naked) - 6 wings - $4.99: "In the mood for something naked and not having any luck, try our wings, they never say no."
  • Fried "Button" Mushrooms - $6.99: "If you experience any hallucinations after eathing these you will be charged $1 extra."
  • Texas Cheese Fries - $5.99: "Please don't ask for the nutritional value on these. It's not good."

Pokes Neighborhood GrillThere are large screen TVs everywhere.  On Saturday, there were at least a half dozen different sporting events on for all to see. At the table next to us, a crowd of fans in OSU Cowboy shirts and caps gathered to watch their team.

The fare includes appetizers, entrees, soups, salads, desserts, sides, drinks and a kids menu.
