Motivational Power Quote

The Fear of Success

“Procrastination is the fear of success.

People procrastinate because they

are afraid of success that they

know will result if they move ahead now.

Because success is heavy,

carries a responsibility with it,

it is much easier to procrastinate

and live in the someday I’ll philosophy.”

Denis Waitley, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The fear of success

People who have the fear of success will find it perpetuates itself in their inaction.  They have the inner sense that prevents them from taking the actions that will make them successful. What they have in a built in success blocker, that blocker is called procrastination.

They become comfortable living in the status quo and in their comfort zone to mask their fear. That fear creates a deep inner fear that resides in their subconscious that freezes them in place.

Moving out of their comfort zone can be a thematic experience for them.

They are willing to live a life of failure and un-fulfilled potential ratter then move out of their comfort zone.

So without knowing it they won’t make the efforts to become successful because of fear.

Recognize the procrastination will hamper your life, your success and that procrastination is the fear of success.

Leave the fear of success behind you and move past procrastination. Change the course of your life and into success zone.

I often find people who procrastinate are lazy.  I know this is a generalization but it seems to be fitting.  If you for procrastinate, you don't have to do anything.  This is not an activity that promotes success.
