Anyone who knows the saga of our kitchen remodel knows that I'm unhappy with my ceramic tile floor and ensuing filthy grout - luckily I've found a locally-owned tile grout cleaning company, Okie Tile & Carpet Cleaning!

I think these guys are miracle workers, but they give all the credit to their machinery. After they assessed my icky grout problems, they began with manually applying a cleaning solution along the grout grooves. Next came out the monster machine (really rather small, but powered from a truck outside) that applies heated water at an average of 1500 psi and also extracts water at five gallons per minute.

Check out the videos on their web site and check out my before and after photos. The entire process took less than an hour for our rather large kitchen, and I didn't have to move anything out of the way other than counter chairs. Cost was $100.

I still need to get my kitchen tiles replaced and re-grouted in several areas, so if you have recommendations for a skilled craftsman in this area, give me a call. But I do feel relieved to have found a locally-owned vendor who can CLEAN the tile properly.

These guys are very professional and take much pride in their work. AND, they wear cute t-shirts that say, "got grout?" They claim to do equally fabulous work on dirty carpet, but since we have no carpet in our home, I'll wait to hear back from you on this.
