This is one of those phrase that at time makes total sense. Before, I started in Real Estate years ago, i attended The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale for a Bachelor in Interior Design. Learning how to design a home to make it functional but elegant was always my niche. Now I help sellers on the process of preparing their homes to sell.
ONE KEY: LESS is BETTER
Removing all those items that you do not use, the gifts that you like to display, the family picture, the furniture that mismatch everything. One of the most important part of it is CLEANING. Buyers love to open the refrigerator and if the food has been seating there for a while, it can produce an ugly smell that will be impregnated on buyers mind even long after they leave the house. Keep everything neat and clean.
I understand many of you have children, and is not very easy to keep everything neat. The less you keep out, the less work you have when showings are schedule.
IT is JUST SIMPLE.
PRICING THE HOUSE CORRECTLY, SHOWCASING YOUR HOME and HIGHLIGHTING THE BEST FEATURE, is half the way to the closing table.
