By
Industry Observer with Chateau Realty

So I win an IPad and now I need to figure out how to use it. I looked all over the net and the ITunes store and here are the apps I found usefull or hope are usefull...still testing some.

Adobe Photoshop Express (I have Photoshop) I think I'll only use it for twitter pics or Facebook.
Dropbox - Love this app! Store files online for free, keep all my docs in the online cloud.
Noterize - Good for taking notes or typing and it also records voice.
Evernote - Not sure if I will use this yet or not.
Penultimate - Another note program you can hand write notes....still testing it out.
Numbers and Pages  (Apples answer to Excell and Word)
SugarSync - Like drop box
Realty Server
JotNot Fax
Magic Plan - Used for making floor plans...not sure if it's all that accurate.
Zoocasa
Realtor.ca app
Corus Radio - Love this app!
The Provence (Vancouver newspaper app) very nice.
CTV (Canadian TV) and CTV News App (now I can get Canadian news in Hawaii).
Flixter - Movies Guide with trailers
Google apps (Google, Google Earth, Google Translate)
PDF Expert
Easy Sign (have not tested if it works on VIREB contracts yet.
IMovie -edit movies on IPad.
Facebook
Twitter
Linked In
Sound Hound  - listens to music and tells you the name of the song - (get pro version)
QR Scanner - scans QR Codes
Alarm Clock
Battery
Newstand - For Magazines
Benjamin Moore - Paint colour scanner sucks but good to show sellers what colours are popular before they paint.

There is my starter list...please feel free to comment on apps you like (listed and not listed).

Hi Douglas,

Congratulations on winning the IPad, you have an extensive list of apps, which will keep you involved and entertained as well.

I would add the Apple Keynote app for presentations, i find it very useful and do all my presentations on it

I have been using the IPad2 since it was launched and use dropbox, Keynote, PDF expert and Evernote daily in my business

Regards

Ebrahim

Hi Douglas,

A very insightful blog you have here. Among these, Dropbox is very cool. And Dropbox is an excellent storage service.

For example, you can use Dropbox as a backup destination to backup all your data from other cloud services. For example, if you use Evernote and Google Docs, it might good to backup all notes and Google Docs documents to Dropbox.

So please check out cloudHQ (http://cloudHQ.net) - cloudHQ can backup and sync all your files from Google Docs, Evernote, SugarSync, Box, etc. to Dropbox - even Basecamp projects.

Profit from my two decades of experience

Douglas-I just heard about MagicPlan wanted to see if anyone on AR was using it. I plan on downloading it later this morning.

Thanks
