LeMay Trunk or Treat - Tacoma, Washington

LeMay Car Museum will be holding a Trunk or Treat event at their Marymount Event Center Tacoma Washington on Sunday, October 30, 2011.  The hours are from 2 - 4 pm.  The Marymount Event Center of LeMay Car Museum is located at 325 - 152nd St E, Tacoma, Washington (near Sprinkler Recreation center).

For those unfamiliar with "Trunk or Treat" - the idea has been around for several years.  The basic premise is that a family, or organization decorates the trunk of a car for the holiday, and has their candy or treats available either in the trunk, or next to the car.  It is a way for many people to gather at a common area (parking lot, etc.) so that kids don't have to travel over neighborhoods where some may be less than desireable.

Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween.

Steven - we live on an unpaved narrow one car width right of way with no street lights so we do not get any little trick or treaters down our lane  ..... when we first moved here one of the neighbours used to sit at the end of the lane on the back of his pick up and dole out the treats but to be truthful I believe he stopped as the many of the trick or treaters around here go into town where they can run more safely from house to house.

Kathy -- maybe the trunk or treat program would work for your area, if there is a church or store parking lot that would let folks park their vehicles there.  Of course, if you don't want to put out the $ for the candy -- then you are in the perfect place for Halloween.
