PetsMart New to Alvin Texas!

By
Real Estate Agent with David Tracy Real Estate #555994

At the last Alvin-Manvel Chamber meeting it was announced that a PetsMart will be constructing a 1,100 square-foot building in the Highland Shopping Center on FM 1462. For those of you who don't know where Highland Shopping Center is, that is where Krogers is currently located in Alvin. This new commercial business will create new jobs for the Alvin area.

Recently there have been many new commercial construction projects in Alvin. This is exciting because commercial entities normaly don't just construct anywhere. They take many things into consideration, number of roof tops, traffic counts, what is currently built in a city and is that business making money?

To have Pets Mart construct a new building is exciting for Alvin; it means Alvin is  growing. Most Pets Mart stores have a vet department for animal care. At this point this store will not have a vet. There will be an animal groomer.  I personally love to see pets in stores, even if it is not a pet store.

Sussie - Alvin is growing!  I love Pets Mart stores - it is fun to see all the dogs shopping with their owners.

Hi Sussie,

It appears that Pets Smart is on a roll, they are almost finished building a new store where I live in the Wesley Chapel area of NC.

Can't wait, I have lots of different animals (not including the children!)

Sussie, why is it we cannot help but stop and play with the pets ? Either for sale, up for adoption or on the end of a leash lol.

Growth is what it is all about. Good for the community and you.

Enjoy the day

Sussie,

Petsmart in our area is a very nice place to shop for your pets, plus they have a grooming shop and a Veterinary Clinic for your pet right in the store.  Everyone here in Wilsonville, Oregon is always helpful, courteous and knowledgeable.  This will be a good thing for your community as well as your pets.

Pam: Me too! At least at the store you know someone is going to adopt them!

Rose: Yes... they noted many more coming but would not elaborate on which ones.

Jeffrey: So you have a pet? I want a dog but don't have a fenced in yard for one. Plus I want a BIG dog and my yard is tiny.

Don: I know what you mean. I have to ask, "may I touch your pet" every time! I just want to touch them without thinking.

Mary: I think I will shop there for my moms dogs Luna and Dolly.

Adrienne ~ I don't know of a phone number to call. I think they will be opening up in a week or two. That is what I was told last week. Last week they were putting up the shelving and stuff like that. I don't know if the new employees will stock or if they will hire out for that too.

I would personally go to a store and speak with a manager there. I think eye contact would make for a better response.
