This is such a fun event for the Fall season. There is a place in New Hope in our area that holds a yearly Scarecrow Festival as well.
Faith, it is so much fun to see all those scarecrows around the town, they put you in Fall spirit.
What a great idea. I'd love to have a Scarecrow festival in Ozark. Is the Chamber of Commerce sponsoring it?
Kay, the Chamber is the one who is hosting it, they had a meeting and gave ideas to whoever is interested in entering the contest. Interested party is responsible to all the expenses of their project. It is real nice to see all different scarecrows around the town, it really brings out the spirit of Fall.
