Most of us have received the news of the Caulk family tragedy by now. I can think of nothing else this Monday night as I am crying and imagining a mother's pain. Missy Caulk is now and has been one of our own and one of the sweetest, dearest and sharpest people I have ever met. I would never had the opportunity to know the Caulk's without ActiveRain and for that I am very thankful.

Friday night Missy's son, Jamie was in a horrible auto accident. Jamie is currently fighting for his life and his family could use all your prayers. Jamie Caulk, bright, ambitious, talented, and young decided to walk in his mother's amazing footsteps and enter the business of Real Estate. After visiting Jeff Belonger's FaceBook page I learned even more of Jamie.
He was blessed with the voice of an Angel and the talent to support it. As he sung his song I broke down and wept for Jamie and his family. Our own Bob Stewart is married to Missy''s beautiful daughter, Christa and they are all fighting for Jamie's life. This is obviously not my ordinary post but we need to unite. They are our family too.
PLEASE UNITE IN PRAYER for those in our community and let our God know how much we need Jamie back. We need our community WHOLE and we need Jamie WHOLE.
Pray and please support the Caulk's and Bob Stewart. They are the building blocks of ActiveRain and helped to create our unity. They helped to build our wonderful family here.

Prayers and best wishes for them...... so sorry to hear....
Deb - having gone through a similar tragedy very recently this story and what I know breaks my heart. I will keep the Chaulk family in my daily prayers. So, so sad...
☔ Deb, we know the power of prayer, and we know as a community here in the Rain we can join our prayers together for Jamie and his family. Thanks for being the place we can gather to do just that.

What a great tribute Deb...I know the Caulk family so appreciate all their friends love and support throughout the social media world and even AR... I love the power of prayer and we here Pray for Jamie and the Caulk and Stewart families! And I know God has his arms around them...
I originally heard through FB, and have since seen a ton of posts and FB updates about Missy's son. I think its wonderful how many care and have prayed for him (and continue to pray for him). I can't imagine what its like to just be waiting. This situation is certainly one of the biggest nightmares a parent can face. Im going to continue watching for updates and praying.
Deb, I am suggesting this post so that more and more members can come to know of the horrible tragedy that has impacted the lives of several of our wonderful friends and family here in the Rain. Missy has been almost like a founder in the ActiveRain family, having been involved since the early days. Not just involved but a leader in supporting and helping others reach their full potential. This post is so wonderful Deb and I love the flame, it seems to be so perfectly appropriate as we have sort of have our own on-line prayer vigil for Missy's son and the whole family including their newest family addition of Bob Stewart who married Missy's daughter Christa.
Let us all just hope and pray for the best for the whole family that they can get through this very difficult time.
Done and done Deb - prayers and positive thoughts are one their way. I keep seeing mentions of this on various friends posts in AR. I too love the flame - it's very symbolic. It's hard to really express the words that can console someone during such a time - hopefully an outpouring of prayers and support will ease some of the pain and worry.
I know you believe in miracles - I do too.
Thanks for sharing this with the AR community. Praying too.
Prayer is powerful. We need to keep this prayer chain going. Please keep us informed.

Praying for Jamie and the Caulk family now. May the Lord heal Jamie and give the family strength.
Praying, Deb and when you put it in a mother's perspective it should bring us all to our knees. I have been following Jeff's post too on Facebook.
Deb - thank you for sharing this post. May our great God and Savior grant mercy and health to Jaime.
This is such an awful tragedy and I haven't seen an update since this afternoon. Hoping and praying for the best for the Caulk family!
Thank you for all your prayers. God took Jamie home. Please continue to pray for the Caulk family. They will need the support and strength from here on out. God Bless them.

Dear Deb - So sorry to hear this....lots of prayers for the family of course & I will re-blog to spread the support request.
Deb, I have come back to add my prayers for the Caulk family, this will be a long healing process....I read William Johnson's post. I just lost a friend a bit after midnight--I hoped they have met and shared their spirits!
Deb
How you phrased it ---- "God took Jamie home" --- is probably the most comforting words at this time. This is probably when parents will hug their children even tighter.
How terribly sad.
I was so incredibly sad to hear this news. There's no pain worse than outliving your child. My parents went through this.
Deb, please take a moment to update your post. You can just add one line on the very top of the others so people reading this for the first time will not be confused.
I'm just aching for the whole family....we know that Jamie is now at peace, but that's small comfort for his mom.
I am so overcome here. I got too busy to keep up and I did not realize this. I am so sorry Since early october I have been so out straight with my family and work I missed this I am just sick over this.
