The roster has been set for the Franklin Templeton Shootout to be held December 7-11. 2011. This golf tournament which is hosted by Greg Norman will be played at the Tiburon Golf Club, Naples, Florida. Norman is also the architect of the two courses at Tiburon, which is also the home for the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples.
The event matches two-man teams for three rounds with a different format each day. Only a couple of teams have announced their pairings, with the rest to be set by the end of the month. The known pairings include Norman with Fredrik Jacobson and Rickie Fowler playing with Camilo Villegas.
The field will include 5 of the top 30 golfers in the world according to the latest golf ranking (Steve Stricker, Webb Simpson, Fowler, Keegan Bradley and Brandt Snedeker). Half of the 24-man field have won a tournament this year either on the PGA Tour or on the Champions Tour.
