So you probably opened this to see if this is blog is about TLW . Well, I guess you could say it is in a way. There are times in our life when certain people come into our lives and touch us somehow.
Last night Monika and I were invited to a Manchester Monarchs hockey game in Manchester, NH at the Verizon Wireless Arena. We had dinner at J.W.'s a sports bar right down the street from the arena. After dinner we headed over to the game and we entered the arena thru the main doors and headed upstairs towards our seats.
It was lady's night and they were giving away a 1/2 carat diamond from Bellman’s Jewelers where the first 1,000 women received envelopes containing a total of which 999 diamonds were cubic zirconium and one envelope contained a half-carat diamond worth $2,000. Monika and our friend Jan did not win.
Monika hasn't gotten over it yet. Very Depressed...
While the girls were getting their diamonds checked I walked past the vendor who was handing out program booklets for the game. It was a big surprise when I took the program and glanced down at the cover and all across the top is ROAR with the team logo imbedded in the letter O.
I turned to Monika and said TLW would get a big kick out of this, here we are at a hockey game and we see this and of course who do we think of. "The Lovely Wife" and "Active Rain". We just had to blog about it. We just can't get away with out something popping into our lives that makes us think of someone else even tho we have never personally met her.
