I have decided to take another interesting Challenge/Contest. I say “Challenge” because I have to admit before I read the blog I had never heard of Google Cloud Printing. I decided to learn more about Google Cloud Printing to see if it was something that would make me and my team more productive. Once I had done my homework and learned as much as I could about the product, I knew this was something very useful. Not only useful but, totally cool! Honestly, when I started looking into this new technology I figured it would be hard to learn and too time consuming. Okay, I know that sounds negative but, truth be known some of the new products and social media sites are like putting together a really LARGE puzzle. The most time consuming part of it was doing the homework to see if this would really be a benefit. To my (happy) surprise, it was extremely easy to set my printer, phone and iPad to link together to print from anywhere. Seriously, when I hit the Test Print button and the document started printing on my printer I felt like celebrating! There it was my printer printing from my phone!
Now, on the go I am sending documents & attachments to my printer. They are right there waiting for me right when I walk in the office.. Another tool to make the PearlandHomeTeam be more Productive and efficient for our clients.
What could be next in technology?
Not Sure but, we are on the look out!

I haven't tried cloud printing yet. You make it sound easy. Do you have a special printer or does it work with any printer?
Hi Maureen. I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500A, there are others that are compatible with the cloud printing. Below is a link that was helpful to me.
Google Cloud Printing
It actually is compatible with any printer. Some of them support Cloud Print natively, but all the other you can connect to Cloud Print using Chrome.
You can find more info here: http://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/printers.html
Good evening Maggie.
I am going to try it.
Thank you for sharing.
