Mykel, I agree that now is a good time to buy, but I'd hesitate to say that prices are going to go back higher than ever. I don't think we'll see "peak of the bubble" prices for a long time. That was an error in the market, not the same scale of up and down that we see frequently in that chart.

Thank you guys for stopping by.  The long term outlook for real estate continues to be very positive.  Dave I understand your hesitance when I say that each time the real estate market drops, it always comes back, with values even higher than before the drop.  It may take some time, but after going thru a couple of these shifting markets and studying this historical data, I truly believe this market will rebound significantly.

Mykel - thanks for the response. We can both agree that now appears to be an excellent time to buy. Only time will tell if the market can resume the highs of 2006 and 2007 before too many decades have passed...
