Activerain Hasn't Made Me a Millionaire...


No, I can't say that I have tons and tons of business because of Activerain, but I am well on my way.  I just had my first AR Referral Closing (from an agent that is not even a member, but found me here), I have had a couple of buyers and I currently have 3 listings as a direct result of my Hyper-Local posts (thank you Bob Stewart) and a new buyer as of last week.

 

I can say that the education I receive from my fellow AR Members and the AR Staff is Top of the Line, and I can say that I have grown (inside and out) from my participation here.  Why do they call it Activerain when I am usually sitting on my bum while here?


I can tell you that when I decided to quit smoking, the folks in the rain (Lenn Harley and Susan Emo.... Thank you for the "Tough Love") offered 24 hour support.  Cards, emails, phone calls (Thank you Roger Mucci for listening for hours in the middle of the night)..... You guys were amazing and still are.  One day I received a gift basket filled with tea and lavendar products (I love lavendar) with no note.  It turned out to be from Kerrie Greenhalgh (thanks a bunch Kerrie), and it meant the world to me.  When my mom was going through Biopsies and tests for Breast Cancer, you all prayed and offered kind words, and when we found out that there was no sign of cancer, you all celebrated with us!


Last week, I received another beautiful greeting card from Joe Kenny,  two weeks ago a call from Karen Anne Stone (my "Be Yourself" role model).  I am in daily contact with many of you through phone calls and email and text messages and I LOVE it!


I can tell you that I miss Donna Foerster here terribly and continue to pray for her full recovery and then her return to the rain.  I have tons of books &  movies to discuss with her, but I promise not to bombard her the moment she logs in... Seriously!  


I have made tons of friends, some virtual and some in real life.  I have had the pleasure of meeting Craig Rutman, Nevin Williams, Laura Baker, Cinnamon Wright, Tish Lloyd, Melissa McKinney, Pamela & Lee St. Peter, Bob Stewart, Debe Maxwell and Brad Andersohn... just to name a few.


When you aren't here for a while, (Ellen Caruso, Cinnamon Wright, Tish Lloyd, John Handschuh), I miss you and when I am MIA, I know that you miss me too, cause you call or email to check in!   Thank You!


Next weekend, Frank & Karen Baker are coming up for a CRS Class, but there is no way in H - E - L - L that I will let them get out of town without hangin' for a while.  My plan is to show up at the Class and kidnap them..... They are currently traveling and maybe they will not see this and avoid my Plan (insert Craig Rutman's evil laugh here)!  


Activerain hasn't make me a millionaire, but it has definitely made me one of the Richest Realtors around!  THANK YOU!

It was so nice chatting with you on the phone, recently.  <Thanks for putting up with my creaky, scratchy voice... and also, thanks for mentioning me in your post, as well>

But... we have benefited even more.  Why ?  Because you have shared yourself with us.  You have given us back such a gift... the gift of you being yourself.  I am sure others have told you this... but I love you... just the way you are.  Thanks for sharing yourself and your family with us... and thank you for the kindness you have shown me.

Amy ~ Ah,ha ~ caught in the act...thought you could get away with it, no way...I'm back, for the moment, still traveling but now in Boston to see our son for his 30th Birthday!! We surprised him last night and showed up at his softball game in Boston where he lives!! It was so much fun to surprise him!!
