Market activity in Greenland,East Kingston,New Castle, Portsmouth and Rye shows a promising increase in actvity as well as a noticable increase in the average sales price. These towns are mostly seacoast communities except for 1 , East Kingston. This town showed a drop in activity but a strong increase in sales price.

GREENLAND 

Active Listing:  32 with an average asking price of $440,470.

Sold 5-1-2011 thru 10-18-2011:  26 with an average sales price of $456,515.

Sold 5-1-2010 thru 10-18-2010:  20 with an average sales price of $382,385.

 

EAST KINGSTON

Active Listing:   24 with an average asking price of $313,633.

Sold 5-1-2011 thru 10-18-2011:  8 with an average sales price of $329,796.

Sold 5-1-2010 thru 10-18-2010:  16 with an average sales price of $281,338.

 

NEW CASTLE

Active Listing:  20 with an average asking price of $1,337,290.

Sold 5-1-2011 thru 10-18-2011:  9 with an average sales price of $1,194,889. --nice gain!

Sold 5-1-2010 thru 10-18-2010:  7 with an average sales price of $822,143.


PORTSMOUTH 

Active Listing:  108 with an average asking price of $586,814.

Sold 5-1-2011 thru 10-18-2011:  70 with an average sales price of $489,866.

Sold 5-1-2010 thru 10-18-2010:  79 with an average sales price of $393,717.

 

RYE 

Active Listing:  67 with an average asking price of $1,291,710.

Sold 5-1-2011 thru 10-18-2011:  47 with an average sales price of $672,532.
