Rosalinda, Great photo. I like the lines of the buildings, the detail in the Cathedral and the touch of color from the flag. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, that is a great photo. The angle you took it at is picture perfect. The flag makes it too!
You have one impressive photo. I was able to visit St. Patricks.. It was a wonderful esxperience which I will neve forget.
What a stunning church and photo! I've always wanted to visit NY. My sister's family is visiting for the first time next month... my neices' band is in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I'm so jealous of all they'll get to see!
Gretchen
Hi Rosalinda,
I can imagine it was hard to capture that tall cathedral in your picture but you did a great job!
Gary - I have taken few pictures of St. Pat over the years and this one is worth sharing.
Beautiful photo of a beautiful Church. I have had the pleasure of attending Mass there, It was such a wonderful experience.
Ralph - Luckily, we were in NY city before the lunch hour so it was not that crowded and I was able to practically kneel on the sidewalk to take that shot.
Joan - I love St. Pat. I used to work behind St. Pat before I got married years ago and I either went there or at Saks Fifth next door at lunch time.
Gretchen - New York is a special city. There are so many things to see and do. I lived there for four years before I got suburbanized.
Liz - My mother was visiting from the Philippines and I had to go to NY in August so we decided to stop at St. Patrick. It was kind of nostalgic. I sang with the Diocesan Choir (Rockville Centre Diocese) there twice few years ago.
If I am not mistaken...this exact same cathedral sits in down town Houston. hmmmm going to go take pictures of it so you can see.
