Wednesday/Thursday Photo-Walking Along the Coast With My Best Friend!

Megan and I have been best friends every since we were in elementary school... We grew up together, went to the same school, lived in the same neighborhood, always playing in one of our yards after school. This was while we lived in Oklahoma..

Now we both live out in California and working hard to get our lives established as strong independent women that are able to survive on their own. I being a very driven real estate agent that has big goals of being a top 30 under 30 agent and just a top producing agent. She studying really hard for her LSTATS that she will be taking in February so she can get into a good law school.

Megan is also getting married next year and I am going to be one of her bridesmaids (even though I have a strong dislike for weddings, I love my friend and will be there to support her on her big day, this will be my 6th time I have been a bridesmaid.... Have no desire to capture that bouquet yet...) and I will be getting to help her and her fiance' buy a home in the next few months...

Tonight Megan and I walked along the coast just talking about things of the past, present and future walked along the harbor looking at the boats, yachts, ships, and just skipped rocks until it got to dark we couldn't see our rocks anymore and then we just kept walking.. We probably walked about 6 miles along the coast. It was just awesome!!  I know this isn't the greatest pic and it's a little dark but this is a pic of me and my bestie Megan!

Hope everyone else had a great day! :)

Sometimes, it does not matter how good the picture is - what is more important is the time you spent with your friend and that is the significance of this picture!

You just gave me a great idea.  Take a day off and go to the ocean and take off my shoes and hang out.  I haven't been over there in ages so this might be a good time to do it.  Thanks for your post and I'm glad you got to spend time with your friend.  I don't like to go to weddings either.

Hi Stacey. This was a fun read. Your mention of being a bridesmaid 6 times reminded me of the movie, 27 Dresses. I hope you saw it, it was fun to watch. 21 more weddings to go and you can do your own re-make of the movie, LOL.

Stacey, Some times, those are often the best parts of friendship, not the raucus parties or the wild adventures, but the quiet talks when you really get to be friends!

Stacey - I always admire women, who leave their comfort level of home, and work to find flight on their own.  Somehow I know you and your friend will succeed.  I can almost see SUCCESS from your words!
