12 Comments on Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Free Brevard County Residents Weekend
Darn it Sandy, I'm booked this weekend but can I be your guest sometime in the future? Ten Tons of food, now that is an astronomical feat. My hat is off to KSC for their support throughout Brevard county, such a great cause to be part of.
You've got it Kevin, or should I start calling you Arnold now? The Kennedy Space Center working in unison with the local sharing center to gather food donations is a super cause! Families are provided meals around the holidays because of this great event. I never miss a year of heading out to KSC on this special weekend. I love the visit! It's history in our own backyard.
Great chance for folks to get in free and donate to a worthy cause! And the weather is supposed to be nice!
Hey Gary, Are you going this weekend? It is a wonderful cause. What a great way to bring the community together in helping those less fortunate families. We certainly woke up to some brisk weather this morning, didn't we? I am looking forward to going. It's going to be a gorgeous weekend. How's the back and the tooth today? I hope you are feeling better!
Sandy,
My friend Peter would probably love to go. Sounds like a wonderful event and such a worthy cause I am astounded at the 10 tons of food. Let us know what it was like. have a great day!
Yolanda, Is Peter the one I met way back when he was in town? You're right. This is such a fun event and it's so educational. I learn something new each time I go. I wouldn't miss it for anything. If you were here, we could go together. Come on down, girl! Lol 10 tons of food is pretty amazing, isn't it? I am packing my bag of food and getting it ready to go. Thanks for the well wishes. Has the weather there been brisk? We woke up to a chilly 60 degrees - I know, I know, we're a bit wimpy here.
sandy,
Great picture and all of those really good things to do all for free is a bargain ib my mind. Sounds like a great time can br had by all.
It must be pretty quiet around Cape Canaveral without the space shuttle program

Bob, This is always a great time for a great cause. I never tire of visiting the Kennedy Space Center. And I learn something new everytime that I go. I am really looking forward to it this year.
Hi Paul, It has been a bit quieter since the space shuttle program has ended. However they are still sending up rockets, so we do get to enjoy seeing those go up. It will be interesting to see how many people attend the free weekend. Hope you have a great one!
Ann, Well come on down, girl. You know the welcome mat is always out for you. I'd love to see you sometime. I will think of you this weekend and take a lot of pictures.
