Latin Ladies Club October 20,2011

Today, Thursday, October 20th the monthly Grand Lakes Latin Ladies club met at The Black Walnut Café at 23233 Cinco Ranch Boulevard in Katy, Texas. We had 15 ladies in attendance. The following countries were represented: Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Honduras and Guatemala. The gathering started at 10:30 and when I left at NOON it was still going strong. I knew it was time to leave when the wine list was being asked for. I still have many things to do. This is the 2^nd meeting of the season. We usually take turns meeting at someone’s home. The hostess decides whether it is to be a breakfast, brunch or lunch. We only meet during the school year as everyone scatters for the summer. We usually have one or two outings during the year. It is called the Latin Ladies club as only Spanish is spoken at these events.

Very nice represtation of ladies from various Latin countries and 15 people attending at luch is a good turnout. I think it is cool that y'all get together and speak only Spanish. Another advantage to buying a home in the Katy area.
