Amazing story. Look at the difference. I would certainly take the house, but then there is property tax and upkeep, LOL!
That's funny. I didn't consider the property tax, so now I'm leaning the other direction...lol
I guess, if I were to make a coment, and that's what I'm doing, the only word I can think of is 'bizarre'.
Are you finding buyer's that still get the 1 to 2 million dollar loans, and who is lending?
Most of the purchases here at over 1 million are always cash?
There are a number of properties that are over that value in Newport Coast alone.
It seems so far out to think of all those zeros for a property, one place in a land of quality homes for $40, $50, $60K. Rural real estate markets where you could buy 1200 acres, 8 homes and still have money left over under that $1 million dollar spending spree in my rural Maine market.
