Join botanist, herbalist, and educator Allison Poklemba for a Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants of the Dunes Workshop on Sunday, October 23, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Plant identification, harvesting techniques, and usage for food, medicine, and fun discussed.
First half spent harvesting from a variety of habitat types; the second half preparations and edible treats are made.
Please bring clippers or kitchen shears, a pint-sized mason jar, and a mug. Wear sturdy shoes and dress to spend time outside rain or shine.
This class is appropriate for people with both beginning and advanced levels of botanical knowledge.
Costs $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
